Meta has even shared that once someone watches past the first 3 seconds, a big chunk will stay longer.
Then deliver one juicy idea. This is the whole value of the video in one main thought. Pick one tip, one example, or one tiny before and after story. The goal is retention, so keep sentences short and cut every еxtra word. A useful guardrail is word count. If you want a video near 30 seconds, try writing around 75 words first, then adjust to your natural speaking speed. If you need 200 words to explain it, that is not one video. Split it into two.
Finish with a CTA that matches the type of video you are making. If the video is meant to reach nеw people, ask for a follow. If it teaches something, ask them to grab a frеe checklist, join your email list, or watch the next part. If it is more personal, ask a simple question so they comment.
